What this is for
Most parenting tools hand you a perfect schedule and a quiet sense you are behind. KinSide starts from the other end: you are the expert on your family, and you are tired. So it carries the lists, the loose ends and the what-ifs.
It organises
Routines, tasks, meals and plans in one place you can read in ten seconds.
It suggests
Ideas appear when they are useful. You accept, edit or wave them away.
It never judges
No streaks, no grades, no comparison with other families. Missed a day? Tomorrow is blank.
The daily part
One calm screen for today.
Open KinSide and see only what matters now. The rest can wait.
Routines and tasks that bend with your day
Build morning and evening routines once, then adjust them on the days that go sideways. Add a one-off task in a few taps.
- Today view for routines, tasks and what is for dinner
- Edit or skip anything without explaining yourself
- Quiet by default, nothing nags
Meal planning without the 5 p.m. scramble
Sketch the week, move meals around, and decide dinner before you are hungry and out of patience.
- A weekly plan you can rearrange freely
- Meals sit right next to Today
- Ask for ideas around what your family actually eats
AI, on a short leash
It suggests. You approve.
AI in KinSide is a helpful friend at the table, not a manager. It proposes, shows you what would change, and waits.
Sample suggestion
Move bath to before dinner on swim days?
Would change: Tuesday and Thursday evening routine.
Always a clear yes or no
You see exactly what would change before anything does. Declining costs nothing and the suggestion simply goes away.
- No silent edits to your routines or plans
- You can ignore suggestions entirely
- KinSide does not give medical or legal advice. For those, talk to a qualified professional.
When life leaves the house
Travel and care plans in one folder
Work trip next week? Grandma covering Tuesday? Keep dates, who is looking after the kids, and the details they need together, so nothing lives in your head.
- Plan trips and who is covering care
- Save the caregiver details you want on hand
- KinSide does not contact anyone on its own. You stay the one who reaches out.

What KinSide is, and isn't.
It is
- A planner for routines, meals, trips and care
- An assistant that suggests and waits
- Built for one parent, with room for two
- An early version we are still shaping
It is not
- A source of medical or legal advice
- A judge of how you parent
- Something that texts or calls caregivers for you
- Available in the app stores yet
Questions
Good things to ask first.
Do I need a co-parent to use KinSide?
No. KinSide is built for single parents first. Everything works on your own, and co-parent features are entirely optional.
Will the AI change my plans on its own?
No. It makes suggestions and shows what would change. Nothing is applied until you approve it.
How does a co-parent get access?
You create an invite code tied to their email address. Shared plans then require explicit confirmation, and your private items stay separate.
Is this medical or legal advice?
No. KinSide helps you organise and think through everyday choices. For health, custody or legal questions, please speak to a qualified professional.
Can I get it from an app store?
Not yet. The early version runs through Expo Go on iPhone or Android. The launch button walks you through it.
Does KinSide contact my caregivers?
No. It helps you keep their details and plans organised. Any calls or messages are yours to make.
A little lighter, on your terms.
Try the early version on your phone. It takes about two minutes.
